Corporate Gifts and Promotional Products – Thinking Ahead

It is important to think in advance when preparing to give corporate gifts and promotional products to ensure availability and creativity.

The best way to think about it is how far in advance department stores offer new styles for the next season. A very well known department store that begins with “Nor” and ends with “trom”  (you fashionistas out there know who I’m talking about), has an Anniversary Sale in July.  Right in the heat of the summer, they are selling “Fall” apparel at a discount.  The retailer is thinking ahead, and so are the buyers.

Now the point I’m trying to make is, you don’t need to go out and buy your promotional items or business gifts 3 months in advance of your occasion, but give it some thought. Get your wheels in motion, so you aren’t scrambling at the last minute. Think of the change of seasons and what your future plans are for marketing and recognition. In addition to having the flexibility of time when you plan, in many instances you will save money by avoiding rush fees and you can budget better.
